Exchange Start
7How to make an exchange?
Select the direction, specify the amount, payment details for receiving, and your email. After creating the order, verify the exchange rate, total amounts, network, payment method, and the validity period of the payment details. Send funds only to the payment details of an active order, then make sure to click the "Confirm order payment" button and upload a confirmation if requested by the system. The order enters processing only after the button is clicked.
Do I need to register before exchanging?
Prior registration is not required. You can create an order directly on the website. To access your order history and notifications, use the same email address you specify when creating the exchange.
What is the minimum amount for an exchange?
The minimum and maximum amounts depend on the selected direction and are displayed in the exchange form before the order is created. If the required amount exceeds the available limit or reserve, please coordinate the exchange with support in advance.
What is a direction reserve?
The reserve shows the amount available for payout in the selected direction. If the reserve is insufficient, write to support. The operator will check the possibility of replenishment or offer a suitable exchange option.
Is COINDROP suitable for large amounts?
Yes, but it is better to coordinate a large exchange with support in advance. We will check the reserve, direction, available payout method, limits, and the potential procedure for AML, KYC, or SoF verification. Do not split a large amount on your own without consulting the operator.
Is COINDROP suitable for beginners?
Yes. Before making a payment, you can clarify the network, address, TxID, payment details, and the procedure with support. Do not send funds until you are sure that all order details are specified correctly.
Why might the order specify the payment details of another individual?
In certain directions, a counter-exchange model is applied, so the recipient's payment details may belong to another participant in the operation. COINDROP coordinates the exchange and fixes its terms. At the same time, you must send the payment only from your own card or account and only to the actual payment details from the order page.
Order, Rate, and Status
9What determines the exchange processing time and where can I check it?
The regulations of a specific direction and the current status are displayed in the order. The actual processing time depends on the payment method, network confirmations, bank performance, and the need for additional verification. If the processing exceeds the specified time frame, support will check the cause of the delay using the order number.
How is the exchange rate fixed?
The exchange rate, the amount to be sent, the amount to be received, and the fixing period are displayed before payment. If the funds were received after the timer expired, the instructions were violated, or the rate changed by 5 percent or more in either direction, the order may be recalculated according to the terms of the service.
How can I find out my order status?
The current status is displayed on the order page and in the "My Orders" section of your personal account. Notifications may also be sent to the email address specified during the exchange setup. If the status does not change for a long time, provide the order number to support.
What happens after clicking the "Confirm order payment" button?
The order is transferred to processing, and the operator receives information about the completed payment. Next, the receipt of funds and compliance with the order terms are verified. Do not send a repeated payment or create a new order until the current operation is verified.
Can I cancel an order?
An unpaid order that has not yet been transferred to processing can be canceled. After funds are sent, the possibility of cancellation depends on the stage of the operation, the payment method, the bank, the network, and the possibility of a refund. An executed order cannot be canceled.
Why can an order be canceled?
The reason may be timer expiration, payment to outdated payment details, lack of payment confirmation, incorrect data, failure to provide requested materials, violation of instructions, or a technical error. If you believe the cancellation was made in error, immediately inform support of the order number.
What should I do if I did not manage to pay for the order in time?
Do not pay for the order after the timer expires and do not use old payment details. Create a new order or contact support. Payment using expired, canceled, or changed payment details may lead to delays, recalculation, or a complex refund process.
What should I do if I paid but did not confirm the order payment?
Open the order and click "Confirm order payment" before the timer expires. Without clicking the button, the order will not enter processing and will be automatically canceled after the timer expires, even if the funds have already been sent. If the button is unavailable or the order is canceled, immediately write to support and attach the payment confirmation.
How is a refund processed?
The possibility and procedure for a refund depend on the reason for cancellation, the stage of the operation, the payment method, and the availability of the original payment details. Before making a refund, the service may request confirmations and conduct a verification. The operator will inform you of the timeframe and possible bank or network expenses after reviewing the specific order.
Payment and Banks
9How is the service fee taken into account?
The COINDROP fee is included in the exchange rate and the final calculation of the order. Before confirming the exchange, you see the amount to be sent and the amount to be received. Fees of the bank, payment system, or cryptocurrency network may be charged separately by their operators.
Who pays the bank or cryptocurrency network fee?
The external fee depends on the selected bank, wallet, exchange, or network. Before sending, check whether it will be withheld on top of the amount or deducted from the transfer. The amount stipulated by the exchange terms must arrive at the address or payment details of the order.
Can I pay for the order in parts or via multiple transfers?
Only after coordination with support. Multiple transfers without prior warning are harder to match with the order and may lead to delays or additional verification. If one payment has already been sent partially, do not pay the remainder on your own until the operator replies.
Can I pay from another person's card or account?
Use only your own cards, accounts, wallets, and funds. Payment from a third party may require additional verification or cause a rejection. Do not create an order at the request of unknown individuals, intermediaries, fake brokers, or questionable projects.
What should I do if an incorrect or incomplete amount was sent?
Do not send an additional payment and do not create a repeated transfer without coordination. Inform the operator of the order number, the actual amount sent, and attach the receipt. Support will check the receipt of funds and inform you if an additional payment, recalculation, or refund is possible.
Why do I need to upload a receipt or a PDF statement?
The document helps to match the payment with the order and verify its parameters. However, a receipt, screenshot, or statement by itself does not confirm credit if the recipient has not confirmed the arrival of funds. In a disputed situation, the service may request additional materials, including a video recording of the operation from the banking app.
What is important when paying via Fast Payment System (SBP)?
Select exactly the recipient's bank that is specified in the order. One phone number can be linked to several banks, and the app sometimes substitutes another bank automatically. Before sending, double-check the bank, recipient's name, amount, and payment details.
What should I do if the bank delayed, rejected, or is verifying the payment?
Do not repeat the payment without coordination with support. Save the receipt, operation status, or official bank response and inform the operator of the order number. Bank verifications and timeframes are beyond the control of the service, but support will help determine the next step.
What should I do if I have not received the payout?
Check the order status, email, banking app, or wallet. If the funds have not arrived, write to support and specify the order number. A bank statement may be required for a bank payout, and a wallet address and TxID for a cryptocurrency payout.
Cryptocurrency Transfers
3Do I need to specify a memo, tag, or comment when sending cryptocurrency?
If the wallet, exchange, or network requires a memo, tag, destination tag, or another identifier, specify it exactly and without changes. Sending without the mandatory identifier may lead to delays, additional verification, or the impossibility of automatic crediting.
Where can I find the TxID and what does the number of network confirmations depend on?
The TxID or transaction hash is displayed in the transaction history of the wallet or exchange. The number of confirmations depends on the network, asset, and exchange direction, and the current processing status is displayed in the order. Provide exactly the TxID to support, not the internal withdrawal number of the exchange.
What should I do if I specified an incorrect wallet address or network?
Write to support immediately and do not send a repeated transaction. A transfer to an incorrect address, to an unsupported network, or without a mandatory memo or tag may turn out to be unrecoverable. The possibility of a refund is reviewed individually and is not guaranteed.
AML, KYC, and Security
8Who can use the service?
The service is intended for of-age clients who act on their own behalf, in their own interest, and use their own funds and payment details. Do not perform exchanges under the direction of unknown people or projects promising investment income.
What is an AML check and how long does it last?
An AML check assesses the risks of an address, transaction, TxID, and source of funds according to the rules of the AML, KYC, and SoF policy. A standard check takes up to 24 hours, a complex one up to 7 days. During this time, order processing may be suspended, and the timeframe depends on the completeness of the data provided.
Is it possible to check cryptocurrency via AML in advance?
If a preliminary AML check is available for the selected direction, use it before sending funds. It helps to assess the risk of the address or transaction in advance, but the final decision is made based on the actually received funds and the data of the specific order.
Do I need to undergo identity verification?
For a standard order, additional verification may not be required. KYC or SoF confirmation is requested in case of increased risk, a large amount, the use of mismatched payment details, a complaint, or a request from a bank, partner, monitoring service, or competent authority.
Why can I be denied an exchange?
A denial is possible in case of rules violation, use of third-party payment details, critical AML risks, suspicion of fraud, forged materials, or refusal to undergo mandatory verification. The decision is made to protect the client, the service, and the payment infrastructure.
How do I understand that I am communicating with official support?
Go to support only from the coindrop.trade domain or via the official link @coindrop_official. Do not trust similar accounts and do not pay to payment details from direct messages unless they are linked to your active order.
What data does COINDROP never request?
Support never requests a PIN, CVV, SMS codes, passwords, seed phrase, private key, recovery codes, or remote access to the device. Payment details are entered only in the official order form when they are required for the selected direction.
How to make an exchange safer?
Verify the website domain, order terms, network, address, and payment details before sending. Do not follow suspicious links, do not share access data, and do not follow instructions from third parties. COINDROP fixes the order terms and applies AML, KYC, and SoF control to mitigate risks.
